Goodhertz, Inc. (“Goodhertz”) takes your privacy seriously, and — to get this out of the way right off the bat — we will never share nor sell personal data collected on our site with any third parties. Goodhertz collects customer data solely for the purposes of diagnosing and fixing software issues; authenticating use; preventing abuse; and improving our plugins. By accessing goodhertz.co via a web browser, or by using any Goodhertz software or Goodhertz plugins within any third-party DAW hosts (together understood as the “Service”), you acknowledge that you accept the practices and policies outlined herein.
What personally identifiable information does Goodhertz collect?
Goodhertz requires only an email to sign up and access the Service. We also collect the IP address of, and a unique identifier for, any computer that uses one of our plugins. Any name or address information you provide for purposes of purchase or payment (i.e. the name you enter when purchasing a plugin with a credit card) does not pass through the Goodhertz infrastructure. Such personal information is communicated directly to Braintree for the purposes of authorizing your payment method. Goodhertz uses the Google Analytics platform (quite common across the web) for analyzing site usage; this data is not personally identifiable, and never linked to data kept within the Goodhertz Service.
You may receive emails from Goodhertz related to your use of the site. These emails are strictly for authentication purposes (i.e. confirming the email address that you used to sign up for our Service), or to notify customers of successful purchases and send receipts of purchase. Any other informational email is purely optional (you can sign up for our newsletter here), and can be disabled at any time.
